The short version of the full terms, because nobody should need a law degree to book a party.
You never have to ask twice, chase us, or argue about it. The detail, including the exceptions, is below.
It's free. Change your date, your start time or your address at no charge, any time up to 14 days before your night. Your new date can be any open date within 12 months of your original booking. Just send us a message with your booking name and what you'd like to change, and we'll sort it. Inside the final 14 days changes aren't guaranteed, because your Guide is locked in and your kit is packed, but message us anyway and we'll do our best.
The only thing to watch is distance. Travel is included within 45 minutes of the city you booked in, so moving somewhere nearby costs you nothing. If your new address sits further out, a travel fee may apply ($75 out to 70 minutes, $150 out to 90). We'll always show you the fee before anything is charged, and if we can't get a Guide to your new location at all, you're refunded in full.
Up or down, free, up to 14 days before your night. Your number is what sets the price, so if it moves, the price moves with it. More guests and you pay the difference; fewer and we refund it, down to the five-guest minimum. Send us a message with your booking name and the new number and we'll sort it.
After that 14-day mark we've packed your kit, so we can't promise a goody bag for guests added at the last minute. Extra friends are still very welcome to come along and join in, we just can't guarantee three gifts each for anyone who wasn't on the list when the kit went out, and the number you've already paid for is locked.
Before you cancel: you can move your night instead, free. Any open date within 12 months of your booking, up to 14 days before your night. Most plans that fall through just need a new date, and moving costs you nothing.
Need to cancel outright? More than 14 days before your night, everything you paid comes back minus a flat $99 cancellation fee. Inside the final 14 days, half the night fee comes back, because your Guide is booked and your kit is packed by then. Either way, anything you added from the range and any travel fee are refunded in full, and nothing ships: the gifts are part of the night itself.
Changed your mind? You have 48 hours. Cancel within 48 hours of booking and everything you paid goes straight back to your card. The one exception is a night that's already inside the next 7 days, where your Guide is locked in and your kit is packed; in that case the inside-14-days rule above applies instead.
If we're the ones who can't deliver, you get everything back. Automatically, immediately, without you asking. If your Guide can't make it on the day we'll move heaven and earth to re-staff first, and if we can't, it's a full refund of everything you've paid.
Refunds land back on the card you booked with, usually within 5 to 10 business days. That window is the card networks' speed, not ours. Your statement shows a discreet descriptor ("GN EVENTS"), never a product name.
